Terms of Use - Cattle Management App

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account and using the AgroHagio app, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of the Service

AgroHagio is a cattle management platform for managing properties, herds, paddocks, weighings, supplies, costs and other livestock activities. The service is provided through a mobile app and a backend API.

3. Registration and User Account

To use AgroHagio, you need to create an account with true and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity on your account. Let us know straight away if your account is used without your authorisation.

4. Trial Period

New users get a 21-day free trial with access to every feature. When the trial ends, you need a paid plan to keep using the app. Creating multiple accounts to get new trial periods is not allowed.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are processed by the app stores (Google Play Store and Apple App Store). Prices, renewal and cancellation follow the policies of the relevant store. AgroHagio does not process payments directly.

6. Data and Privacy

We collect and store the following personal data: full name, email address, authentication data and, when you provide one, a profile photo. The photo can be chosen from your gallery, taken with the camera or taken from your Google account. We also store the cattle management data you enter in the app (properties, animals, weighings, costs and so on).

The profile photo is optional, can be removed at any time and is not used for facial recognition or biometric analysis.

Your data is used only to provide the service and is not shared with third parties, except when needed for the app to work (for example, email services for account verification).

We use encryption to protect your login details and secure connections (HTTPS) for all communication between the app and our servers.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AgroHagio only for legitimate cattle management purposes. You must not:

• Use the service for illegal or unauthorised purposes.
• Try to access other users' data without authorisation.
• Reverse engineer the app or try to compromise the security of the system.
• Share your login details with anyone else.
• Create multiple accounts to get around limits of the service.

8. Intellectual Property

AgroHagio, including its code, design, trade marks and content, is the exclusive property of its developers. You keep ownership of all the data you enter in the app. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app in line with these terms.

9. Availability of the Service

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates. We are not responsible for losses caused by the service being unavailable.

10. Limitation of Liability

AgroHagio is provided "as is". We are not responsible for decisions made based on data in the app, for financial losses or for direct or indirect damage arising from use of the service. The app is a management aid and does not replace specialist professional advice.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded, such as the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Closing Your Account

You can ask to close your account at any time, directly in the app. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. When an account is closed, your data is kept for 30 days in case you want it back, and is then permanently deleted.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after the changes means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, in line with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018) and the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (Law 12,965/2014). Any disputes will be settled in the courts of the user's place of residence.
